Here’s Spanish label, bimba & lola‘s collection exploding with color, pattern, shape + volume for SS/13.
With a color palette that races across all spectrums from chambray blue to moss green to bright yellow, there’s a little bit for just about anyone. But it’s really the many options of silhouettes + patterns that really caught my eye.
The trend of dresses over pants is still fresh for SS/13 and in the hands of Bimba & Lola, they don’t fail in claiming it as their own. You have straight cuts like the first two looks below (top left, one with a slim fitting pant and the other, with wide legs. On the other side you have all that is sweet beautifully rendered by the lower left white number. Although some might argue they grabbed a page from Miu Miu’s AW/12 Lookbook for some of their designs, I still think these guys offer something special – And really, don’t these looks easily transition from work to play?
