Throughout history, shoes have always been an integral part of any look. Of course, a shoe’s style, from different eras, had many influences including politics, film + music. Dating back to the Twenties, up until present day, it appears that form reigned over function. But today, a shoe’s form exposes it’s function by highlighting its construction, through many details including visible screws, platforms + heels, that sometimes one could pass off as a weapon.
