Fashion From A GIFferent Perspective ‘In Bloom’

If in space, what’s a girl to wear? Well according to stylist Anna Meedham + photography duo Meinke Klein, nothing is more befitting than looks by Simone Rocha, Meedham Kirchhoff, Erdem + Dries Van Noten – at least for the GIF project, ‘In Bloom’. The last installment of SHOWstudio’s Flora series, we see models from different perspectives, surrounded by flowers in motions similar to that of rollercoasters, indoor waterslides + spiraling down the ‘rabbit hole’ like Alice in Wonderland.

Hair Stylist Soichi Inagaki, totally nailed it by making the model’s hair look almost alien-like by creating a structured + angular chignon, punctuated by very short blunt bangs.  Make-up artist Laura Dominique’s touch of light make-up with iridescent skin, a light bronze blush following the high cheekbone line, with no eyebrows, light copper eyeshadow + lip complimented the overall looks very well.

I could totally see these clothes as the thing to wear in space, especially the mesh white dress with grey bodice overlay and the shiny gold dress over light blue-gray skinny sweatpants/leggings.   And the angle in which those white shoes were shot in GIF 1 is just sick!  Where can I get a pair?
