Ever since Humerto Leon + Carol Lim were made creative directors for Kenzo back in 2011, they managed to revitalize the brand + bring it back up to cult status with their unique approach to fashion + functionality. Considered influencers, it only made perfect sense to pair them with Toilet Paper magazine, to create Kenzo’s AW/13 campaign.
Toilet Paper, the experimental art magazine created by artist Maurizio Cattelan in 2010, was the best choice for the collaboration, in creating something fun, quirky, tasteful + stylish. But really, would anyone have any doubts – Cattelan with Leon + Kim, the founders of Opening Ceremony, the best store ever? – Nah!
Wonder if Karl missed Choupette Lagerfeld at all, when it chose to model for Kenzo below?
