Wake Up With A Lot Of Léa Seydoux, Full Front + Center

I am so in love with this shot of a barely dressed Léa Seydoux, in a transparent chiffon cape by Alexandre Vauthier, as cover girl for the upscale men’s adult monthly, Lui magazine. With the cover shot by Mario Sorrenti + scheduled to make a comeback on newsstands tomorrow, Sept 5th, it’s hoped to be around for a lot longer.

Lui, French for ‘him’, will have Numéro’s founder Jean-Yves Le Fur to thank, for breathing new life into the famous Seventies erotic magazine.  This time however, Lui is going to be packaged as a lifestyle publication, including the revival of some old sections including shopping section “La défonce du consommateur,” or “The consumer’s smash,” in English, in hopes of gaining female readers.

With 60 pages worth of high end advertisers like Dior Homme + Chanel, such a resurrection couldn’t happen at a better time with a stronger interest in mens magazines + mens fashion, with the likes of GQ + Mr. Porter in the world.  Yet, besides all that, with photographers like Terry Richardson, Mikael Jansson + Glen Luchford adding their talents, Lui is sure to cause a lot of buzz + gain new admirers along the way.

Don’t you think Léa looks like a young Catherine Deneuve on the cover?  Gorgeous!
