Here’s a video discussing fashion illustrator Tony Viramontes who Anthony Vaccarrello recently mentioned as an inspiration for his Fall 2014 collection.  Tony perfectly captured the glamour + excess of the Eighties, granting him jobs with elite fashion labels including Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel + Versace.  Look at how perfect he made his subject’s imperfections look.  Unfortunately, he was taken from us by AIDS in 1988, dying at the age of 31.
