How To Carry In The Future

Konstantin Kofta‘s ‘Inertia’ + ‘Platonic Solids’ bag collections of futuristic bags, look like austere sculptures able to take shape into something else.  With geometric lines + frozen movement in time, the ‘Inertia’ collection deals with how inert matter is full of motion when we look closely at it, with the activity of matter as essence + geometry as a construct of the intellect.  The ‘Platonic Solids’ collection, is based on five perfect 3-dimensional forms, collectively known as The Platonic Solids.  Driven by Marcel Proust’s quote of, ‘The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands but seeing with new eyes,’ new lands or forms are attained thanks to Kofta’s designs.
