Vionnet owner + creative director Goga Ashkenazi played with so many shapes for resort, one can’t quite pinpoint where + when they came from. With pieces that could easily transport a woman back in time, to the Forties or Seventies, the core influence derived from a dress Madeleine Vionnet designed in the Twenties. You won’t find dropped waists here, but, you can still feel the breath of flirtatious romance with every draped piece of fabric, with every cinched waist + with how much skin to bare.
