Here’s AnOther Magazine’s take on ‘Modern Couture’, the accompanying film to their autumn/winter 2012 issue.  With a fashion story shot by Ruth Hogben and styled by Katie Shillingford (new fashion director for AnOther Magazine), you get to see different pieces shimmy, wraparound, slink and sway from couture of days past into couture of the 21st century brought to you by Raf Simons’s debut couture collection.  Susannah Frankel then unlocks the mind of geniuses by talking to several designers and fashion royalty including Raf Simons, Donatella Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier and Karl Lagerfeld.

The accompanying film by Ruth Hogben, starring model Saskia de Brauw, features the following cast in order of appearance:  Atelier Versace, Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci, Valentino Haute Couture, Iris Van Herpen, Maison Martin Margiela Artisinal, Gaultier Paris, Giorgio Armani Privé, Dior Haute Couture and Chanel Haute Couture.
