Hunger’s Latest Young Blood Series Is All About Texture

Sometimes the sense of touch seems to outweigh that of sight or sound.  There’s nothing like the sensation of feeling the fabric of a sleeve, lapel or a crease between your fingers.  But I’m not going to get to touchy-feely here as the mix of textures is what kills in the latest ‘Young Blood’ series for Hunger Magazine, shot by Max Liebenstein + styled by Alex van der Steen.

Above, the model wears a knit DKNY sleeveless top under a fabulous Poelo coat.  On the left below, you have an overcoat in wool with leather accents by Koonhor, a turtleneck by Azzedine Alaia + shorts by Cody Ross.   To the right, you have a light grey turtleneck by Barbara Bui under a sweatshirt by A.F. Vandervorst + a skirt by Leka.

What I love about this look below is the mix of patterns + obviously texture. Here the model wears an overcoat by Tommy Hilfiger, a shirtdress by Koonhor, a polo by Franziska Fox + a skirt by Georgine.
