With the ever changing style of women’s shoes, one has seen everything from heels that look like armadillos, futuristic sculptural structures that defy gravity to 3D-printed creations, but no one has quite captured them like this. ‘Everything has a sole’, a series of quirky shoes for Bianco collection, created by Copenhagen-based artists Stephan Friedli + Ulrik Martin Larsen from studio PUTPUT, combined daily life objects + materials with heels + soles. Ironically, most of the shoes have a tread platform sole, making them very utilitarian, fashionable + contemporary. In the end, you end up with a whole series of witty + charming heels.
I have many favorites. Which are yours?
