Here’s fashion film ‘pinky’s dream, watch the room’ showcasing STUDIOWINKLER‘s amazing AW/14 fashions. Directed by Nathalieineuropa, the collection was inspired by the album, Until the Quiet Comes, from Flying Lotus + why designer Julia Winkler launched this collection under the same name: UTQC.
I love more the ritualistic aspect to some clothing as to putting it on, let alone transform from one look to another, with undoing a button, zipping more zippers or tying one less string. The jackets are genius, not to mention the oxblood dress that takes on a halter jumpsuit look, simply by tying strings from both ends around your neck. I’m also loving the model’s super white eye makeup with her slick hair.
Enjoy!

Charlotte Olympia + Solange Azagury-Partridge have teamed up to create this amazingly luxe yet fun capsule collection inspired by Azagury-Partridge’s ’Metamorphosis’ collection. There’s a clutch in the collection representing all precious materials used in the jewelry designer’s pieces. Meanwhile, Olympia‘s passion for Hollywood glamour + pin-up girls continues to inspire her contemporary retro iterations.
My favorite would have to be these Fringe Wedge Platforms.
The capsule collection is now available online at Charlotte Olympia.

A longtime client of Mario Badescu, when I was given a sample of their ‘Temporary Lifting Mask’ by Irina, my amazing aesthetician + told to use it for a special occasion, I was in disbelief but tried it anyway. So one day, with a wedding hours away, after washing the pink mask off my face, I couldn’t believe how amazing my skin looked. I looked refreshed + had a slight ‘glow’, which lasted throughout the day into night.
An instant pore minimizer, it immediately tightens, cleans + refines skin. But as ideal as it is as a quick boost for a special event, it can be used regularly to tame skin with enlarged pores + congestion. But best of all, is how great it smells, like most of Mario Badescu’s products.
You can purchase this mask at Mario Badescu.
Well, not really, but this ingenious microchip print makes it all possible. Part of Jacob Birge Vision’s Resort 2014 collection, you’ll be able to ease your way into Summer, in either of these looks.
The dirty grey ‘Microchip Print Sleeveless‘ dress above, is fastened by a back zipper. Made of silk crepe-de-chine with a cotton lining, you could definitely transition from work to play very easily in this piece.
Below, makes for a great date look. There’s a white ‘Microchip Print Sleeveless’, loose top, with popper fasteners (also made of silk crepe-de-chine with a cotton lining), that also comes in black. It’s then paired with the ‘Microchip Black-Leather Look Pattern Mini Skirt’, in vegan leather, decorated by a holes pattern (handmade) + an exposed white back zipper.

Here’s the beautiful fashion film for Marchi‘s SS/14 ‘Utopia’ collection, featuring a voluminous organdy dress. A mix of American-style ’50s minimalism, the post-war years, a tiime of utopian fantasies + the Golden Age of Television, all served as inspiration for ‘Utopia’.
While working on the collection, designers Valeria Marchi + Tasha Kukhar tried answering the question of what can be a utopia in the modern world. Through the search process, creating the effect of layering, volume, + simultaneously, the transparency + lightness, answered that question. The collection’s color palette included a mix of pastel colors, from yellow to exotic berry + deep green.
Unique prints, in the form of clippings from colored paper were developed by using a conventional plant that has been modified under the influence of the environment during the growth or aging, creating an unusual texture + color proportions. Very striking results, correct?
These are the types of screws that deserve to be exposed! A collaborative project between Japanese designer Yuma Kano + screw factory Komuro Seisakusho in East Osaka, Japan, Screw:) is without a doubt, a guaranteed screw with a smile.
Not meant as a replacement for more standard screw designs that have yet to be reiterated, like our poor old lightbulb, but rather as a pause for fun. Kano began thinking about the potential to infuse emotion into small, ubiquitous objects like screws, especially for projects that would require exposed screws.

Wake up with the kooky Hermès fashion film ‘Metamorphose’ by studio Vallée Duhamel. Talk about a fun way of incorporating a few new key-products with bright colors, fun prints + my favorite random flamingo, to celebrate Spring + Summer.
